"eye spy" - photographs
18 may - 16 august 2007
the theme is an extension from 'the games we play" to "playing the games".
the concept is "eye spy" - a childhood game. it also reflects muka gallery's relationship with children.
the gallery is the place where the game 'eye spy with my little eye something beginning with ...." is to be played.
the walls have large photographic prints of animal eyes, the first letter of the animal's name features next to the photograph.
on the floor of the gallery lays the game called "memory": eye photographs are printed on one side and a pattern on the on the reverse. it is on floor level as to get the adults to reach down to their past and to the level of the child.
